What do you think of the new Stockport Council website? The first version has just been made public.
The new version of Stockport Council’s website has just been made public and they want you to test it.
It’s called a ‘beta’ version because it’s still being developed and tested but they have made it available to everyone so that they can make sure it is working correctly and providing the information that people are looking for.
The new website has a different look and feel. Pages are simpler, clearer and easier to use and new areas are being added all the time.
Improvements are being made continuously in response to comments received, so take a look and give your feedback using the link at the top of every page.
Councillor David Sedgwick, Stockport Council’s Executive Member for Reform and Governance, said: “Stockport Council has listened to what people ask for most often in our Contact Centres, on our phone lines and via our social media. We have designed our new website to ensure that our residents and businesses have quick and easy access to this information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.”
